Xaivon Wilcox

I was born and raised in Athens, Georgia, and I have always carried a desire to serve and strengthen my community. After graduating from Clarke Central High School, I joined the United States Marine Corps, where I developed discipline, leadership, and operational experience while stationed in Southern California. During that time, I became part of the skating community and witnessed how a rink could unite people across generations, backgrounds, and cultures. I later worked at a skating rink in Murrieta, California, where I saw firsthand the structure, energy, and sense of belonging that skating creates. That experience shaped the vision for Legendary Skate. I recognized that Athens lacked a dedicated space where music, movement, and mentorship could bring families and youth together in a safe environment. Legendary Skate is my commitment to restoring that culture and building generational impact in the city that raised me.
